Beatriz Simón, a Mexican-born artist, employs a diverse range of mediums, including found object sculpture, plaster sculpture, performance art, photography, video, and graphic design. Her abstract art, rich with human expressions like hands, dripping, handwriting, imperfection, scratching, and improvisation, serves as a metaphor for personal growth. Simón's paintings, like the human being, consist of various elements that together create a sense of fullness and finish.

Her work has been exhibited in various Mexican Museums, international consulates and galleries in countries such as the United States, Spain, Hong Kong, the United Arab Emirates, Colombia and El Salvador. Over the years, her pieces have been recognized with several national biennial awards and have been added to private national and international collections. Simón lives and works in Mexico City.
