Michael Dines is a landscape artist who studied fine arts at West Virginia University and continued his studies at Fairmont State College with a focus on painting. He is known for his large-scale, ethereal landscapes that focus on the power of nature and the feelings of the sublime it evokes in the viewer. Dines’s work has been exhibited at the Marietta Museum of Art, Fay Gold Gallery and Peter Miller Gallery. Publications include New American Paintings, ArtPapers and Architectural Digest. His work is in the private and corporate collections of Elton John, Halle Berry and Coca Cola to name a few. Dines lives and works in St. Helena Island, South Carolina.
